Bernard and Audre Rapoport received the Henry B Gonzalez Award for their tremendous committment to human rights and social justice.
Ross Byrd, son of James Byrd, Jr., who tragically lost his life in the infamous Jasper dragging death case, received the Texas Civil Rights Project's Human Rights Award for his committment to the death penalty issue.
